Y’all Rock Camp ATL is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating an empowering and supportive community for trans and nonbinary youth and cis girls ages 10-16 through music education, creative expression, and performance. Our main program is a week-long summer day camp hosted at a local school culminating in an inspiring showcase/fundraiser at The Masquerade.

We are seeking a year-round, part-time Executive Director to continuously sustain the tasks required to keep the organization running smoothly.

Compensation: $100/week (expected about 5 hours per week of work, fluctuating through the year) with expectation that successful fundraising and growth, both compensation and responsibilities could increase over time.

Non-profit and/or music experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly with the board

• Plan and delegate preparations for camp

• Hire and support camp director

• Follow-up and re-evaluation/assessment after camp

• Organizational administration, ensuring legal documents are filed on time

• Plan fundraising, additional programming, and community outreach events

• Strengthen community presence and individual relationships/connections through events, meetups, etc.

• Work with board to plan for future growth of the organization

Optional Sweat Equity tasks

• Manage relationships with donors and recruit new donors

• Write grant applications

• Attend GRC Alliance conferences and applicable non-profit training

• Dine outs, workshops, other social events
